We are looking for talent

Know someone who would make a valuable addition to the Nanoforge team? Immediate openings are available in the areas of "Art", "Level Design" and "Programming". Please check out the join page for details.

Since my last update, we've added a new member to our team.

Cam, our new IRC bot developer, will help us communicate fluidly and succinctly by improving our current IRC bot, "Illusion".

During the past week, I've engaged in free-flowing brainstorming sessions with the writers, reviewed the latest compositions from our talented sound team, and continued to polish this website.

As the project grows, it seems to encounter more and more stumbling blocks.  "Growing pains" are far from a myth, in this open-source ecosystem.

Recently, I've been wrangling 3D artists back to the project, as their attention tends to slip away when they're not assigned enough interesting tasks.  One might say, "Xavier, why don't you assign them more tasks?".  To that, I'd reply, "I never want to ask 3D artists to create work that won't be used in-game."

In more pleasant news,
I'm pleased to announce that I've chosen the weekly team meeting time.  (12:00 EDT)

As well, I'm happy to report that Skull025 and Djdduty have continued helping out diligently, and remain fairly active.

Lastly, I've created a handy-dandy application form for new team members, located here.

That's all for this week, folks.

Keep watching this space for the latest development updates.
